If the spec says 75 why are you guys running it at 76?? I was surfing around the other day researching screen tearing and how it could be avoided, and stumbled upon a little driver hack that enables a faster refresh rate on this particular monitor.

Not quite sure what happened but since upgrading to Win 7 Pro, switching to a 76Hz driver and then switching back to default Win 7 driver after a reboot. Hmm I know with XP if 22099wa go to display properties, then the settings tab then advanced, it opens another window, then you go to the monitor tab and uncheck “hide modes that this monitor cannot display” then go to the dropdown box above it and select 75 Hertz. Try installing the driver off the DELL website for the monitor.

I have gotten into service mode as well, although I haven’t messed with since I set it up to a somewhat ok config when I 1st figured it out. It seems to always work, don’t forget to revert back to your generic monitor driver.
This isn’t where i grabbed the driver that works, but i think this one will work too: This sucks because there is some bleeding from the text and pictures aren’t as clear as I thought. In other news Go Saints! What is the purpose of the Polarity?
Similar fixes may be available for your monitor, Google knows! Ok, I played with my current monitor Lx some and it does have the option to do 75hz, but only at x I just re-read the first post and see that Nathan said that x 75hz with a single DVI is not possible, so I guess my monitor can’t do it.
Do you know of any x monitors that can be pushed above 60hz?
