I need you help!!! When I try to set the printer up in Chooser it is no where to be found or it says that it does not support the postscript.

I can’t find it in Chooser, and I keep getting an error saying that the LaserWriter 8 can not be found. Do you have or know where I can get this driver? Personally, I think it’s a memory leak in the Adobe software. What suggestions do you have for fixing this problem?
It worked for 1 day and then stopped. Need to download a printer driver for DEClaser printer model Sorry about the msg. Power cycling the printer is the common work-around for this problem.
I have suggestions for that if anyone asks. If it hangs ALL the time under Microsoft operating systems, try changing the time out settings. Or if you’re already using PCL, try switching to Postscript. If you want to use the printer in Postscript mode, try selecting one of the generic postscript drivers. Lou, My Declaser hangs up. Nah, never give up! It is under the Interface option. I use the IIP driver without any problem. I am trying to use a DecLaser with a Windows Vista computer and can not find a driver for it. That is the only thing I can think of that would cause the printer not to be seen by the Mac.
Is there a Declaser 1152 Vista compatible driver
Please sign in to comment. You can also try switching from a parallel port to the serial port. Digital was bought by Compaq, which was in turn bought by HP. So there is also a chance you could get the driver from them. If I remember right, it uses the same Canon engine.
Is there any reason why you can’t use the one that comes with Win visha
Digital developed the PostScript in this printer with them. One note, I’ve had my since they first came out and sometimes the will sometimes hang.
