It would recognize the controller but would not initialize the drive. To Phil Harrisson I am in the same situation as you were prior to July 30th. With the new card, the patch is working.

Tuesday, August 21, Any suggestions from anyone? Vuescan does include the required drivers for the scanner itself so that its recognition by the system should work without problems.

Can you possible post your working file here so I can figure out adqptec my problem is. Your driver will be listed in here sorted by device category and manufacturer.

Before install the fall update, it works correctly. Reading and writing was very good if not better than years ago. For some reason, that driver was dropped from the in-box drivers in Windows 7.

Thursday, October adaptecc, 8: OMG – I also tried this – after evenutally find the drivers online as stated above – this worked me as well and the SCSI controller installed without any issue and I can now see my scsi drives thank you so much for the pointer.

Unfortunately, HP did not update the scanner driver.

Hi, I report that Your solution is working. The standard card has an external 68pin wide SCSI port, but the ‘N’ version has a 50 pin external port.
