Valli is the creation of pioneering Otago winemaker Grant Taylor and is dedicated to producing limited volumes of single vineyard wines. The wines are grown in the estate Gibbston Vineyard and specifically selected Bannockburn, Alexandra and Waitaki Valley vineyards, which over time have proved themselves capable of producing the fruit quality required for Valli.

Grant's accomplishments are well known in the wine world as he is possibly New Zealand’s most awarded Pinot Noir producer. His achievements include winning the trophy for ‘Best Pinot Noir’ at the world’s largest wine competition: The London International Wine Challenge - twice: a feat achieved by no other winemaker. When establishing Valli Vineyards in 1998, Grant’s philosophy was to ensure that the wines are a true expression of the specific place where they are grown. The Pinot Noirs and Riesling he crafts have ‘a sense of terroir’, meaning when you drink a Valli wine you are enjoying more than just a wine, you are also enjoying a place. Visit the Valli Website
