Overview
The Yarra Valley is located approximately 60km east of Melbourne. This close proximity to the capital city makes it an extremely popular wine tourism destination, with many people day tripping to partake in "grape grazing". Most cellar doors are accessible by 1 of the 3 highways running through the valley: Maroondah; Warburton; and the Melba. The main centres are a Healesville and Yarra Glen with a number of cellar doors and wineries centred around the smaller towns of Seville and Coldstream. Read more
